Our next Council Member for District 8 will be challenged with addressing issues ranging from property tax relief to public safety to safer streets. Southwest Austin has concerns unique to our area, and I believe those concerns must be heard. I will work tirelessly to address your concerns and to ensure that your voice is heard. I've dedicated almost two decades to serving others, and that's not about to change. I believe that leadership is about the actions you take, not the position you hold. Feel confident that, "You can call on me!”

Let’s make Austin better together!

Ominous 143

The end result is disheartening. I am hopeful that another opportunity for negotiation will present itself in the future. Until then, 143 is a step back. Existing (and additional) oversight is seemingly lost.

If negotiations resume, I sincerely hope the CC will actively participate in, communicate during and better manage the process.

Fair Housing Study

This study will require various city staff members to work together, in practice versus theory. I’m happy to see this finally reach the forefront.
